Glazing
The clay pipe must be glazed both inside and outside. Glazed inside to make the inside surface more smooth, reduce the flowing resistance. At the same time enhance the capacity of resist chemic causticity. Glazed outside to make the clay pipe outside surface more smooth and more durable. We use the construction of top working to reduce the resistance of surrounding clay.
In China , we have two kinds of method to glaze, one is glaze with salt, just to put salt at the hot pot in the kiln, producing NaCl steam, under high temperature, occur chemical reaction come into being glassiness glaze surface. Another method is use feldspar material and limestone with some clay and manganese peroxide to make glaze plasm, then spray or soak to glaze. Because the high causticity of the salt glaze to the kiln, we use the latter
Drying
The wet clay pipe flan will be sent into the tunnel hot air drying chamber by hydraulic pressure automatically pushed machine on the railroad dryness vehicle. Under 50 -110 ? , 17-24 hours desiccation, the material will be pushed out of the dryness kiln. The heat of the dryness kiln is rest heat from the high temperature tunnel kiln. The production after desiccation the water containing ratio is less than 2%.

Tunnel Drying Chamber
The clay pipe flan out of the drying chamber will be put into the glaze barrel to be glazed, by the professional manipulator, after that, the product will be put on the vehicle of the tunnel kiln, in this course, the different sizes clay pipe should be suited separately. Put the small-bore pipe inside the big-bore pipe, to save the kiln space.
Firing
The kiln vehicle with the clay pipe flan will be pushed into the modernized tunnel kiln by the hydraulic pressure machine. Under 1150 -1200 ? , 17-23hours, the product constriction ratio is 10% around, the product water sobbing ratio is 6% or lower. The product quality measure up the state standard GB4670-84, Europe standard is also practicable.
